Dr. Brittany Pfleghaar’s clients would describe her approach in therapy as warm, genuine, and relational. She is goal-directed and efficient in session with a focus on equipping her clients with tools and strategies to target their symptoms.
She pursued doctoral training in clinical psychology within a medical school and therefore has developed unique expertise in the intersection of emotional, behavioral, and physical concerns. She believes in treating the whole person through making lasting healthy lifestyle changes.

Dr. Brittany Pfleghaar completed her clinical training at the Center for Cognitive Therapy at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania – established by Aaron T. Beck, the founder of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Additionally, she has pursued extensive training in treating OCD and anxiety disorders through the use of Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) modalities.
She strives to create a welcoming environment for her clients to feel heard and understood. This helps tailor her approach to meet her clients’ unique needs. ​

Dr. Chris Pfleghaar’s clients would describe his approach in therapy as authentic, intentional, and appropriately infused with humor. Through his calming presence, he creates a space where his clients can show up exactly as they are to feel seen and supported. His clinical style is individualized to his clients’ needs, ranging from structured and skills-based to more exploratory, depending upon treatment goals.

He completed doctoral training in Clinical Psychology within one of the largest doctoral programs in the country, which provided extensive exposure to a broad range of specialty areas and diverse populations. He has clinical experience across outpatient, intensive outpatient (IOP), partial hospitalization (PHP), and residential levels of care, affording him a comprehensive understanding of the varying intensity and types of support clients may require.

Dr. Chris Pfleghaar completed his doctoral internship at The Renfrew Center for Eating Disorders, gaining specialized expertise in the assessment and treatment of eating disorders. He has further pursued advanced clinical training at several specialized clinics, with a focus on Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, anxiety disorders, and complex trauma.
